The Remler Regen Radio

This single tube radio features the famous Remler variable capacitor which is controlled with the knob in front using bevel gears inside the cabinet. It is a regen radio tuning the AM broadcast band and runs on 12 volts DC. A wall wart 12 volt converter plugs into the back and is included with the set. No hassle with 'A' and 'B' voltages or dangerous currents.

The small knob on front controls the regeneration. Brass binding posts for antenna and ground connection are mounted on the back. A custom made solid brass plate cap sits on top of the tube right behind the main coil that features a tickler coil mounted inside of it.

The cabinet and knobs are made of solid Mahogany stained, shaded and finished with a special flattened lacquer. The top and back plates are black acrylic.
