Upon reflection it appears that all this interest in BIG tubes, BIG coils, BIG wire and ELEVATED tube heights might be misinterpreted as a need on my part to compensate for something. Well, maybe it is. Oh well, this is about the last of that huge 4" acrylic and I've just got to use it all up don't I? After all it did cost a mint to buy and I'm not about to throw it out.

This is basically the same set as the BIG BIG TUBE set except that the lower encasement is minus the transformer and this set operates on a 12 volt wall wart converter. It was first wired in the 'SPACE CHARGE' mode like Dave Schmarder's 12AF6 set but the 1625 tube never performed well. So it was just rewired using the conventional regen circuitry and now it goes to beat the band!

The cost of materials, labor and greed dictate a selling price of (see pricelist) for this one-of-a-kind 'DESIGNER' creation.
